Karla Smailbegovic

Karla joined the firm in December 2023. She grew up in Belmond, Iowa, and later attended Grand View University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice. With her previous legal experience and bilingual skills, Karla is a valuable asset to our team.

As a Legal Assistant, Karla works closely with Mr. Larson on criminal defense and civil matters, helping with case files and supporting clients throughout the legal process.

In her free time, Karla enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, while taking her two German Shepherd dogs out for a walk around the neighborhood or disc golfing.
